As a 3D artist at Oddsparks, one of my tasks was to set up the lighting and post-processing for the entire project. The procedural nature of the game made it quite a unique and exciting challenge, where creating a mood goes hand in hand with dynamic light optimization. And the wide range of biomes, from cozy forest to swampy ruins, made this task especially fun!

Oddsparks is a mix of automation and real-time strategy developed by Massive Miniteam and published by Handy Games under THQ Nordic. The game was in Early Access for around a year and was fully released on PlayStation 5, GeForce Now, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows, and Amazon Luna on May 27, 2025.
